I mean yes. But apparently he was homophobic behind the scenes and made harmful quotes to the press. Plus, Robert Gant is similarly gorgeous - IMO more so - and him being openly gay at the time and still being cast in a substantial role was pretty revolutionary at the time (and still is today).

PadamPotter was my favorite of this cast. Loved all of his nudity. A shame he never went frontal.
